In the Before Time, there were Goats A-Z...

Athena, on the right and Zeus, our original Pigmy Goats, shown here in the only true snow recorded on Sholes Stable since 1985. Zeus, was tragically attacked and died at only 2 years of age, while Athena lived a long life to age 13.

Then...came Nike.  She too was attacked but survived with a semi-useless hindleg.  But did this stop her  from seeking out her beau 3 doors down? No! She trudged up and down irrigation canals and under fences to see her "True Love" Nike left us earlier this year, after 13 years of being "3-legged" her good hind leg was pretty worn out.  We are left with the kids.
