Alex (left) and Blu (right) were left for us by their Mother a black & white kitty (like her son) in 1999.  We thought she was just visiting, and then left under mysterious circumstances.  Later, Kimi our wonderful barn help, said she had seen a couple of tiny kittens. They finally made an appearance.  It took a few weeks of coxing and play with a dressage whip to have them finally figure out people were okay.. We got Alex nutered and the Blu spayed, she then came down with a virus and they both moved into the bathroom so Blu could get her medicine.  Blu decided to be a "house cat" for the most part, she ventures out a few times a day, but mostly waits for me to feed her in the bathroom. Alex has to turn into a very friendly indoor/outdoor kitty, who is enjoying his new "brother" Bucky also.

Bitai, aka The Butthead Bitai was Zen's best buddy and misses him.  Bitai is 8 yr. old DSH Tabby, named after a character in a Star Trek - TNG episode The Inner Light. Bitai visits the neighbor's barn everyday, to see if he's missed any good cat gossip...He's a good kitty.

Our newest additon...Buck E. Katt I opened the door one day and our neighbor Beth said "here, have a kitten".  Someone had dropped a box of kittens off at the Dixon Vet Clinic a few weeks earlier, and Bucky was the last one left.  He came in, said hello to the dogs and made himself at home.  Him and Gwen have a great time, while Bitai and Bucky have All-Star Tabby Wrestling every night.
